map-copy “Spending time at the Eco Farm at Ganeshpuri, Mumbai is a rejuvenating experience phisically, mentally and spiritually. Here we find what it practically means to live in harmony with nature. Thank you for this wonderful project offering real education” Anand Ayyangar, TM meditation teacher, Mumbai

Ganeshpuri lies within the Tansa River Valley, just 70 km north of Mumbai, in Maharashtra, India, about 30 km east of the Arabian sea.

This area is currently facing serious ecological and social challenges and a project is going on to protect this unspoilt area while enabling sustainable rural development to take place.  Central to the Eco-farm’s development is the aim to provide sustainable solutions to these challenges.

Visitors are welcome by prior appointment.  Out of respect, we ask that you observe some basic guidelines to keep our gentle footprint tourism ethics.

Ganeshpuri is a pilgrimage village and receives many Western & Indian visitors as a result of its links to yogic history: (extract from Meditation Revolution by Douglas Renfrew Brooks and Others…)
